Help?

i have encountered a strange problem...my computer doesn't register every note that i hit. i'll hit a series of arrows and rack up a combo only to hit an arrow but not have it register that it was hit. i've tried switching keyboards and playing with settings, changed the quality, reset the router and the wireless adapter, scanned for spyware/virus/everything else i could think of..i know its a computer/connection issue because i've even encountered the problem playing mario 8-bit to test it..(pretty sure i wouldn't just miss one on that normally..) It's mainly irritating because i always have anywhere from 3-25 misses on songs that i should be able to fc/aaa, as can be seen from my rather unfavorable numbers for those...so i've decided to ask my fellow arrow-smashers for words of wisdom! there is a tourny coming up after all...

any ideas?

and sorry if this should be in the noobie section..i haven't posted for awhile and am kind of out of the loop.

Check your key configurations in the game settings. Maybe you changed it and forgot about it. Or change the keys to different keys. Make sure you are not downloading, clear your cache, restart your browser, and etc...

Seeing as how you've attained AAAs in the past, I really don't know what's up with that. You might want to ask in the bug report forum.

yea, i tried changing from arrows to dfjk spread but that didnt help either...i got all the aaa's/fc's last spring/early summer then it started doing this nonsense and i just kind of igored it or found temporary fixes for it. i stopped playing seriously for a long time when school started again and am just now getting around to working on it again..

more details i just remembered...i started getting an error message [error wusb54gc.exe] (i'm guessing on the .exe) which is my wireless, and starting then the connection would just kind of die sometimes, but that's resolved now..and i still got fc's/aaa's with that last year anyway, and i also downloaded windows moviemaker which affected it a bit more, but i could still work around it...if that adds anything.

Try plugging your internet cord straight into the internet jack. Like do not use the router. Then try playing FFR again.

If that does nothing then, consider reinstalling the adapter.

Now that the tournament is coming up, I'm having some problems with my keyboard, I play one handed, not spread, so I use the arrows, and the arrow keys are sticking, and sometimes my keyboard won't let me hit doubles

Clean your keyboard? Ha.
Take out the keys and clean the inside.

if you have one of the really fancy, new keyboards, then that's probably the problem. They're generally unresponsive when it comes to SM/FFR.

Since FFR R1 is a flash, I hardly think it is the connection. After you've downloaded, you only use the connection to update score and credits. It would rather be your keyboard.

Well, no it's not that, it's hard to explain.. See, I play one - handed, so I have to slide my fingers & my keyboard is perfect for sliding, but it's starting to not let my fingers slide as much
