I'll tell you what. If you can get at least 100 people who want them back, I will drop what I'm doing and fix them. Otherwise you will have to wait until I get some free time.

FFR, I need your help, I need at least 100 people for a petition on getting back the old signatures. Just post your support by adding a +1 to your post. I would really appreciate each of your support individually, seeing how 100 can be a lot of people, but I think and hope I can get enough users.

You can't apply uniqueness to it compared to the classic siggies from before 2007 where you could make your own personal background images to it. That's the sole reason why I want those signatures back. Also, I'd like them back because they're simply rectangular and don't have any complicated shapings to it such as the new ones and the ones from 2007.

EDIT: Sure, I agree that the new ones need revisions such as the gray scales, but I'd also like for the old ones to be restored just to make a variety of possible signatures to choose from. I think it's a lame idea if we only have ONE generic shape to choose from, so you might as well pick from the 3. /bump

To those who desperately want their signatures back, take this image and stick it in your signature in order for the process of this petition to speed up. By using this thread link as an advert image, we can get many other supports from unaware users.

I'd rather just have the old ones back, since they're small, and your able to have a selection of themes, thumbnails, and stats fields.

I don't support this.

Instead, I suggest adopting the beloved features of the old one into the new. It's pretty dumb to backtrack, if you ask me. Just bring in more customization on the new end. And, you know, make it more robust, overall. Y'all are programmers, right? That should be your goal regardless of what any of us think.
