    FFR on absolutepunk.net

Chorus.fm is a curated music destination for those looking for something outside of the mainstream. News, reviews, forums, articles, and commentary. Founded by Jason Tate.

But its what one of the staff members said in a comment that absolutely floored me. "AP.net should work with this site and get a new widget for each Exclusive we do. That'd be awesome."

That would be amazing if FFR and ap.net could make that happen.

Working with other sites would be fantastic in my opinion. We'd be advertising to other communities and reaching out to more people. This in return, could hopefully help us to get more bands to let us use their music. I'd love to work on a project like this.

It'd be nice if FFR got their generic widget onto Kongregate sometime in the near future.

SD: I'm pushing for that. Believe me.

edit: registered and made a post in that AP thread... makes me happy to know that non-FFR people enjoy the widgets.

              Re: FFR on absolutepunk.net

              Hey all.

This is Anton Djamoos from AP.net. I saw that Tass posted on our site in the news post and I was wondering how he found out about it. Cool to see that some of you read the site.

I've been playing FFR for over a year now and I fell out of it for a while but then saw the widget on Thrice's myspace page for "Firebreather". I wish I had found it sooner because I got re-addicted and now I have something cool to do on my lunch breaks at work.

Anyways, that's about all, just wanted to say hi and hooray for music/gaming community togetherness.

If any of you would like to speak further to me, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

              -Anton

Oh, now this sounds cool. More reasons to spread the FFR love.
Maybe I'll make an account at AP, never heard of it until now

Yes I am actually quite suprised that the widgets really did work to bring in intrest from other groups on their own. I guess in the long run, widgets really were a great idea.
