    So...I'm switching to spread.

    I've been playing this game a long time, and most of it has been with index.

    I moved on from one handed play to index, and it took me a long time to get good at it.

    I got pretty good at index, but I'm afraid I have hit my skillcap. Especially with hands coming into FMO/FGO's.

    So, I'm switching to spread.

    And it hurts. I suck so bad now.

    At first jumps stringed together confused the hell out of me, but I can read those now.

    The same can't be said for streams.

    I can not spread combo streams at all. I can't even read it half the time. It's starting to get a little easier though.

    I can FC VD songs fairly consistently now.

    Anyways I made this thread so people can give me advice on how to make the switch as painless as possible.

    Any tips the fine spread players of FFR can give me? (Bonus points if you switched from index)

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Also, I'm using sdkl fyi.

          I used to play index a long, long time ago. When I switched to spread I was terrible at stream files. I don't really have any advice except whore a bunch of stream files. Start off with slow streams and work your way up.

                  I switched from 2 hands 3 fingers to spread (jk 86) about two months ago and it was rough at first but im DEFINITELY glad i did it.

                          That's really good advice just to practice.

                          When I first switched to spread I couldn't play for shinazzlefrazzle. Streams used to be another vROLF for me and other patterns but with practice you get better. Pretty soon you're going to be owning so don't worry too much.
                          Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

                                      All the good people like Shashakiro and Thaor and such use the playstyle of the nads.
