I think it's a joke...because well, think about it. In the song near one point one of the judges go "alright you can't sing and you can't dance, so what are you here for?" He would've cut that out if he wanted t actually 'help' William Hung and his errr....great future career*cough* And yeah, if this was meant to be a good song, Jello would've probably put a LITTLE more effort into the stepfile XD
