what key setup does everyone play with and why?

i play both index fingers because im good at it ,and i dont think any else really does.

But i think about 80 percent play with key maps and i dont excactly no how that setup is.

Left hand: left and down arrow on arrow keys
Right hand: Key 8 and key 6 on numpad

I play like that because I never new there was a such thing as AHK and I'm so used to that now that I suck using any other keys.

I probably wouldn't play with z,x,., and / if I didn't have a laptop. (The arrow keys are mushed together at the right side of the keyboard.) I do though, not that it is a bad thing.

A lot of people play with ASKL, I use SD56, I just like it more, it's more comfortable
It's really hard to say "spread players play blah blah blah"

And tyler, you're not that good at index =/ More people play index than you think.

yea ive only been playing a few months and i already have about 8 challenging fc's 2 very challenging fc's and 1 tier point of about 38 aaa's 30 public. I also have 169 fc's sooooo i think im pretty good for how long ive been playing and im also under rank 1000 im rank 1850

Just cause you've been playing a shorter time than everyone else, doesn't make you good. Everyone is ranked on the same system, regardless how long they've played.

Same, but it kills me now when my left index finger accidentally hits a > or ^ and causes a boo, or when my fingers slip. >.>

i play with three fingers middle one on top arrow. it gets hard when it alternates between up and down.

I play Spread like six different ways depending on which song I play lol..

Also play <v86 when I need to switch to index in the middle of a song due to an annoying pattern or something, songs with fast left handed trills or something.

I play DFJK since it's in the homerow and the F and J keys on most keyboards have a raised... Thing.

But the school computers are Macs and I'm too lazy to install AHK on them. So I play <V86 on the school computers.
