    Ads... In The Game!?

Synthlight, you have got to be kidding me...

I thought that the game itself would never have ads on it. Well, just two minutes ago, I clicked on Play FFR, and sure enough, an ad.

This does no good for my computer, which lags enough without ads. How am I supposed to AAA anything with a second Flash file playing just above the game? Not only is it distracting, it lags me, and that makes unnecessary goods and averages and avmisses.

Please don't do this, Synth, Jasonkey, Tass, Nestle, and the other admins. Put ads anywhere else you like, even the forums for all I care. But PLEASE not on the game.

    Sincerely,
    GamerShadow

I believe they get removed if you purchase a subscription, but yeah, they cause some nasty lag, and it's hard to play when you get those ones that flash in twelve different colors and say "ZOMG!!1! YOU'RE VISITOR #24868019!!1!1! YOU WIN!!!1"

Have you considered playing the game from the flash file itself?

I know it depends on your screen resolution, but maybe it will help you to eliminate the lag.

Woah, that's pretty crazy. I didn't know that was possible.

        Thanks, Yukari.

You might also want to right-click on the ad and stopping it.

But yeah, there should not be any ads on the game page. MP + another Flash running at the same time must kill most lower-end computers.

Sure, also, in some songs, low quality helps to recude lag, but you probably already knew this.

Purchase a subscription or use that ad-block thing for Firefox.

Yeah, haha. We know what he meant.

Eh, well...The ad could go somewhere else on a different page of the site, such as the front page. If it needs to stay on the same page as the game, it could be made a non-flash ad instead. If lag caused by that ad is going to make users not want to play the game, then I'm sure Synth would want to do something about it. Haha, I'm hoping Synth would want to do something about it...

I just noticed it. I think that's it's stupid too but if it's what will keep this site up... I guess there's nothing we can do... except buy a subby!

Guys, don't void the ad... it helps support FFR. If you want to get rid of it buy a subby.
