I've noticed that SM makes you realize that FFR is so damn easy. You're probably just playing harder songs on SM than FFR has.

If you play SM on J7 for a week straight, you can SDG any song on FFR.

I seem to be the only one who thinks playing SM doesn't help you get good at being accurate in FFR ^_^

Playing J7 in SM will cause a heck of a lot of avmisses is what it will do =/

Re: Playing SM made me realize...

SM just helps a little bit in FFR, unless I raise my Cmod to like 850+, then 1.75x is too slow on FFR and I get goods and avmisses.

And to me, jumpstream on SM is harder, not because of timing, but it just weirdly seems to register awesomely on FFR. Anyone else get that kind of feeling? O_o

On SM, have to hit them both or else neither will register, while in FFR, they are literally two different arrows, so you can be a little bit off in FFR and still get it

I hit them both at the same time just like in SM, but the simplicity of FFR's graphics and frame rate makes it seem easier to me.

                      Only if there's 2-3 framers.

He says this as if they are rare occurances in FFR ^_^

Yeah, I realize the timings aren't that much different, but no matter what anybody says, you have to hit "early" in FFR if you want to succeed (first Perfect frame, opposed to right on the arrow in SM). This makes playing SM a little misleading because you will want to go to FFR and do the same thing. Hitting right on the arrow in FFR is badbadbad even if there are 4-framers, let alone 2-3 (correct me if I am wrong ^_^). Still, playing SM is good because there are really hard levels, and it will make FFR's levels seem easy

4 framers just means that you can't hit late AT ALL.

SM is a very effective warm up for me when I want to play a serious round of FFR.
