    Portable computer keyboards

    In desperate need of proof:

I'm used to playing on my normal computer that has a seperate keyboard, those you can just mash as hard as you want and they'll resist.

I'm currently on hol and am using a portable comp as a replacement. After having played a bit, I was told to stop because they told me it ruined the keyboard. to hit it like that. I understand it's fragile, but to the point of not being able to play FFR? I see many people play on a portable comp, and their keyboards remain intact. I hit as hard on the keys when playing FFR as I do when tyîng a message to a friend. How can they say that FFR ruins the keyboard if that does not?

Unfortunately, they don't see things this way and are strict about not having me play. Any proof to show that portable comp keyboards resist enough or anything of the such?

There's not really any way to prove that your specific keyboard can survive any amount of FFR playing. Though, it's a crappy keyboard if it can't take FFR.

Can you get a USB keyboard and hook that up to your laptop?
    I fail to AAA.

Get a USB keyboard. I'll suggest one to you. This is the one that I use now. This has laptop-like keys and is connected via USB.

BUY THIS NOW I'm not kidding.

I've played over 2000 games with my current hotkey setup and nothing has happened and my friend plays ffr on his laptop a lot, without any broken keys.

Haha, I've been told to stop playing too. But oh well, nothing bad has happened, and if it breaks, I'll happily pay for the damages...
