    Improvement

I've only been playing for a short while, and I come from a background of pro DDR skillz. So it didn't surprise me much that it didn't take long to get to the point of full comboing Tricky and some Difficult songs. It seems that I'm stuck at this point, though; I can't seem to even complete anything above the difficult level. I use the two handed method; any tips on improving? Or will I just have to do some mad practice?

    Ty in advance~

Play songs that make your hands, wrists, arms, and even shoulders BURN. Keep playing even after they are burning. I also suggest playing with your hands suspended instead of resting on an object, though KEEP YOUR HANDS LEVEL, or risk carpel tunnel.

      Use speedmods or screecut.
Just play a lot or occasionally.
      In that case,

Play with two hands if you don't already.

Yeah, I would say that the best way to improve if you've already got arrow reading skill, is to continue building the muscle memory. Zag is right - playing songs that are physically strenuous is helpful, as tired muscles memorize more than fresh ones. So all you can do is play more right now. That's really the bottom line.
Don't worry, I'm not better than you.

            Re: Improvement

Some songs are offsync, so knowing when to time your taps is a skill you can practice.

Otherwise, just playing and getting used to patterns/reading is the only way to get better.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

True. I got carpal tunnel from playing with my keyboard on my lap and my wrists bent. It makes it so that it feels like your tendons and nerves are burning and grating after the first 100 arrows of carpal tunnel.

Get SM and several 10-13 footers, then play Endless for about two hours. You're probably past the point where any one FFR song will tire you out. Also, be sure to hit arrows as hard as you can without losing speed.
