Okay, I've been checking out some random profiles and "newest updated profiles" and most of them have NEVER EVEN PLAYED FFR!! They've been members for months, and have never played! Or played below 50 games,

all their comments are from pictures of emo girls and boys, saying "We're emo, let's date!" and half of these peoples names are

"Th3 3m0 K1d 200"

"I am emo girl"

"I love emo's"

"emo's for life!"

and have pictures of dying people or emo's

WTF??? Not gonna list any real accounts but you guys know what I'm talking about

And I'm bored so if this is weird it probably is

And I'm planning on making a "Skill Token Help Thread" giving tips and tricks to tackling the toughest tokens, with images (with the difficult parts circled), videos of people getting the skill token, paragraphs describing hand positions, and videos of hand movements describing the patterns of hard songs (aka the runningmen in Classical Insanity)

Good idea? I'll start soon if people think it is

You're definitely not the first to say something like this.. but what do you want them to do? Post a "no emo's" sign on the front page? They cannot control who signs up, and i don't see the problem with these kind of people. Just don't look through the profiles.

Iv'e seen this thread before a few times.
In a way, I do see FFR becoming like myspace, but what can you do? Its a gaming website and those people have the same right to be here as you and me. And I don't think emo has alot to do with it, thats just a sterotype. It's mainly people in general that are bored and looking for something to do.

The thing that really annoys me are the people who create fake accounts and pretend to be guys/girls/porn stars/celebs.

Your token help thread is a good idea, just be careful on how much info you give :/

Edit: Guys don't be giving out names, that just gives them the attention their looking for. If it realllly bothers you, the best thing to do is pretend they don't even exist.

Edit: By the way, OP, I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but don't be supprised if this gets locked. These normally just start flame wars.

haha, I'm not saying that they shouldn't be here, I'm just saying the majority of the members use the site for profiles and don't even play the game, of course they have the right to be here it's a free country!

Who cares if they play or not? I could care less if the people who go on the profiles decide to start playing FFR. If they want to socialize on the profiles, then let them. It is not your place to say whether or not they should be allowed on the site.

I don't know if it's Canada, or if it's me, or if it's our micro-culture where I live, but everybody I know in RL only goes to myspace for bands, music groups, etc. I've never been to a single person's profile on myspace that wasn't an artist. I use facebook if I want to see profiles of just people, and even then, it's just my friends.

That reminds me of a semi-unrelated question I had: is it an american thing or an AIM thing to be giving out your IM contact information everywhere? Everybody seems to give out their AIM on their profiles, and not just the "myspacers."

Must be just you, because most people, (including myself) use Myspace for social networking. I have a facebook, but I rarely use it. Im more of a myspace person, but even with that said, I hardly ever log on.

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't give my AIM out to random people. Only if someone asks for it, or if theres someone I want to talk to who has it.

By the way, Myspace is overated.
