    FFR syndrome

Have it?...close your eyes...if you see the arrows you have it

also, how many people get motion strain...IE when you leave it looks like everything is moving? I don't (normally i will from guitar hero and such but not FFR) but my friend gets it.

Sorry if someone already coined the term FFR syndrome

That happens to me sometimes. Like Il'l finnish a song and the score screen will be moving up a down.

      Re: FFR syndrome

Same phenomenon as treadmill syndrome. I get it sometimes when I play 150 000+ arrows per day. Heck, one time I played about 158 000 arrows, went to bed, and my dream was a constant 16th note jumpstream with 24th and 32nd note bursts. It was worse than Pants.

Has anyone stood in front of those advertisements (not the electronic ones) in the mall that's about the size and shape of an elevator door, waited, for it to scroll to the next advertisement, and got the motion feeling, like being in a glass elevator? I did that so much as a kid. *sigh* good times...

DDR and SM syndrome are more severe.

I had better than that at the height of my playing SM. I could walk down the street and hear the music in my head and "tap" the arrows in my head as I pretty much knew the entire sequence of arrows.

I was only banned for two weeks in like, April or June 2007. I left of my own accord in June 2007 for reasons which everybody except you know about.

Also, as that was off-topic and whatnot I'll just copy my post:

True. Full screen vs. what? 320x240? Although I've never played either long enough to get it.

Has anybody ever had the motion strain thing from FFR and then immediately switched the arrows to the other direction and played a few songs? I haven't but it'd be interesting to know what it would be like. Then again that would be yet another useless piece of information I've collected. Oh well.

Ha, once I've been browsing the forums just after an extended period of playing FFR then I started tapping to arrows and accidentally clicked on a link.

Motion aftereffects. Have you ever played GH or watched a GH vid then looked at something else and it seemed as if a portion of your vision was moving upward? Similar things happen with FFR.

I play SM windowed, it looks betterer.

I used to suffer from "FFR syndrome," but not anymore.

                      FFR = play safely.
SM = get car pool ton ill.

As a side note, I thought this thread would be a complaint about jack syndrome.

                        Who plays SM Fullscreened?
                        Ew.
I don't think about FFR that much, I just play it.

I did, and was 10x more accurate than windowed.
