Getting to rank 1000 depends on how often you play. I've seen some very mediocre players get to have a higher rank than me just because they play more often.

Well, I recently (about a week ago, i think maybe even less than a week ago) reached overall rank 1000. It took me 6469 games and a grand total of 2 352 589 340. Since everybody generally gets better over time, you will probably have to have a grand total of slightly higher, since that is how overall rank is calculated.

How fast you get there really depends on how much you play. I took a few two-three month breaks, but when I played I often played hardcore, sometimes 100 000, a few times even 150 000 arrows per day. I would suggest at least 50 000 arrows per day if you want to get to overall rank 1000 fast. If you don't know already, to keep track of how many arrows you've done in a day, go here.

And as for average rank... well, just practice, and do the best you can on every public song in the game.

well... if you want to get to under rank 1000.... first change to spread. then map your keys and play with askl. then change your speed to 1.5 or 1.75. problem solved

i dont like unmapping keys so i use FIVE SIX SEVEN and EIGHT
and whats the point of speed? does it add more to your score? or just save time?

lol... speed just makes the arrows go faster and you can read the arrows better. you can change your speed in the settings.. try it sometime lol.

I was just wondering, normally vista users have a horrible lag making it hard to get perfects. Was just judging from PA.

Oh and has anyone mentioned Stepmania.

Play a lot of Stepmania, you will improve fast.
Especially if you play on Judge 6 or 7.
