    Speeds

I recently discovered the speed settings (about 3-4 weeks ago)
And I've slowly moved up through 125%, 150% and am at 175% for two weeks now.
I played each level until I felt my reaction time was getting really good for that level, and I know I should be able to move up 25% again.
Whenever I switch to 200%, it seems to go much much much faster than any of the previous jumps, even though they are all (supposedly) 25%.
    And 300% I can't even try.

My question is. Are we sure that 200% is really 200%?
And is it possible to add 225, 250 and 275.
I wouldn't think it'd be that hard to do, since you already have coding in for the other levels.

    Just a suggestion.

    Re: Speeds

why would you want to play that fast? at a certain point, the scroll rate is too high.

3rd style will likely have a scroll bar setting to set it exactly how you want. but, the reason that 2x seems so much faster of a jump is likely because of how it's all coded. FFR is not SM. it's run on 30fps. the higher speedmods just skip certain frames as they are moving up, with 2x skipping 50% of the frames. 2x is smooth, the other ones are not uniform because of the nature of being in flash and having to deal with frames instead of ms timing.

it took 4 years to get any kind of speed mods. no, you won't see more mods added under 2nd style.
    RIP

      Re: Speeds

I wouldn't mind 2.25 Maybe even 2.5 I have to screenshrink about 1.5 inches down on 2x I played with 3x for a while and did ok. But at those speeds you need to basically have the song memerized and hit a split second after the arrow first appears on screen. Takes ridiculous concentration and no blinking. And as Tass mentioned, it's FFR; to many frame issues. With further note, I completely understand your reflexes getting heightend. Ever since playing with 2x my recognition/response had improved exponentially. Good luck progressing
