Crazy Hair Day, not too bad steps but too long and too chill for my taste. 4-0-0-0 in 3rd try.

Panda, very fun steps and rather smexy song, love it. 4-0-0-1 on like 5th play.

          Re: Stargroup Appreciation Day

In Crazy Hair Day, the minijack at note 32 and the jump at note 77/78 don't fit the jump scheme. This is more bothersome than it should be because the song repeats a few times and the steps to repeating sections are copied and pasted. Make sure you at least do everything completely accurately if you don't try to make things more interesting.

Nanatsuropanda is plagued by the same kind of issue. There's one part where the song plays out a few 12ths, and you stepped it as a 24th gallop. One mistake is relatively meaningless, but one mistake repeated four or five times is pretty annoying. In the 8th note jumpy section in the 300s combo area, you only use the instruments that make for the most generic of note patterns, and you do nothing to acknowledge the cymbals at the end of it. The overall jump scheme is a little wonky, as it tends to change often through the song and never really establishes any kind of constant pattern.

Overall, Crazy Hair Day was really boring and pretty lame to play, and Nanatsuropanda was pretty fun.

            hehe so ready for this

I won't bother to comment on Crazy Hair Day because the people who do find it interesting will probably never pick out the mistakes.

The 24ths in Nanairopanda are accurate. They might sound like 16ths to you but they're really 24ths. Really. The jump section is the melody layered to the triangle. Yeah, the triangle. It makes the patterns fun. You got a problem with that then too bad. The patterns fit the mood of the file really well, something I might never do again because I forget how.

These are old files, so they're probably not perfect. I could've made a few major changes to improve them but they would have to go through another batch, which takes WAY too long.

Someone told me Nanairopanda might be spelled wrong, I don't know but I'm taking his word.

            EDIT:

Duh, but it's fun to put it there. Feels cool too.

EDIT2: Yes Crazy Hair Day repeats. You might not like it but it's dumb to cut it in the middle. It only makes sense as main-solo-main. Many SM files are like this too.
Also, if it's too easy play something harder. Notice that this file is aimed toward the newbies.

The only technical error I noticed was right before the 400 combo in Naratwhatever, there were blank spaces when the snare was playing an interesting pattern that would've been more fun to play.

I lost my AAA in Crazy hair Day because of a random good in the end, and the song is quite... meh. And it repeated twice? And I did not continue with the other one... too jumpy...

                      Re: Stargroup Appreciation Day

It's harder for me to tell if patterns are correct if I can't slow down the file in an editor and such, so, yeah...

I played Nanatsuropanda twice just now. The jumps felt fine, but there were definitely places where it seemed inconsistent. (Like, on the parts where it had three yellow jumps... there weren't jumps on the yellow parts with the same sound before that.) I'm not sure about those 24th gallops mentioned earlier, for the reason I mentioned above. Despite that, I thought it was fun to play.

I believe the name of the song is Naniropanda, though. (If you can't read the Katakana in the title on OSTER's muzie page, you should be able to read the genre: NANAIRO MIX).

I think Crazy Hair Day was stepped well, but it just wasn't as fun. As for steps, there was this one, like, piano noise that you stepped jumps to... That's my only complaint here.

In conclusion, uh... it's too bad I can't go in to get detailed reviews, but there was nothing too blatantly wrong that I've seen in other files, so... good job.

Haha, I was just nitpicking. I played those songs specifically looking for something to jump on. None of those criticisms were really anything important. I didn't really like the way C+P was used in Crazy Hair Day, though. Zagh kinda started the trend of not cutting files when they repeat in order to leave in a solo or whatever. Makes sense, but personally, I think it detracts from the overall feel of the file. Personally, I would start out only stepping the most important instrument or instruments, and then layer in more during repetitions, or as the song reaches a climax. CLIMAX THEORY O LAWD

I found it less fun to play than most of the files in that difficulty range. It's tricky to PA, but the hard to PA parts aren't interesting to me, so I don't find it too worthwhile.

Panda thing is really fun, anyway. I guessed they were 12ths but figured I could be wrong. i dunno lol
