So ive been working on AAA'ing and stuff, and ive noticed how retarded i am. If i play a song and say get a 157 combo and then get a cool and autofail. Then i'll replay the song, and wont be bale to get near/past 157 combo and its PISSING ME OFF > . >

Autofail is permanently off for me. I figure that, if I complete the song, I'll get better at it. You don't get better at FFR when you autofail, but you do get better as you hit more notes.

I shouldn't be talking, as I cannot, for the life of me, get an AAA. I have three FPC's and none of them count because of hackers and skill tokens not counting. I just stopped trying after the last one wasn't even sent. Getting one "cool" and autofailing is one thing; getting all perfects and not having your score sent, then never being able to FPC it again is just horrible. Now it's on to FC'ing, and I don't care about my great zero after AAAs in my profile.

Seriously: 74 FCs, up to very difficult, and no AAAs. HAVE MERCY.

lmao, yea well, autofail tells me what im bad at. seeing as i wont notice what kinds of steps im bad at if i dont get an auto fail, ill just ignore the good, then get pissed at the end and beat the **** outta my desk again.

You could get aaa's i got an aaa for crying out loud. Just do what i did, and i still complain about. Go to easy songs. I mean, my bests aaa is Half Symphony....and thats not even really hard. Just...kinda work your way up.

I cant get past that difficulty anyways, but im still trying.

You shouldn't really use autofail. If you're trying to AAA a song with lots of jumpstream, it's worth using it incase you get a good and don't notice, but if you're doing easier songs, just forget the autofail and whore the song you're trying to AAA. You'll eventually get it.

Oh, and if you're using Vista, stop trying to get AAAs, because Vista sucks hard. I can't even AAA Excite Bike half the time on my Vista, but I can AAA a lot of Standard songs on my Mac OS X.

EDIT: And it gets annoying when you continuously write new threads about your wallowing in misery about how you can't get AAAs. Can't you revive one of your old threads? I always look at new posts on the boards even if I've already seen the topic, so people might still help you in your old topics.

Try not using auto-fail; it tends to make some people more nervous and therefore more likely to mess up.

So what if you mess up? Just boo out or refresh the page and try again. And just come back to it later if you have a lot of trouble with it.

Be persistent and you'll get it eventually.

like others have said, dont use autofail. when i put it on autofail i get pretty damn nervous. and if youre going to keep putting yourself down, do it in one of your old threads. now everytime i see your pic as the one whose made the thread ill know what the thread will be about without having to read it.

Guys, talking to him is pointless. I spent two threads and two AIM conversations listening to him unconditionally repeat what he says in all of his other posts; it doesn't matter what you said to him. As soon as he gets a Standard AAA, Tricky is the only difficulty worthwhile. When he got a Tricky, Difficult or /wrists. Note that he actually bothered to IM me to continue complaining when I stopped posting in his thread.
