I was just about to post that. Anyways, jacks can also refer to sets of two arrows at once, in which they're called jumpjacks. It helps to read stickies.

You will learn to hate jacks if you continue to play FFR. They have led to the downfall of many a full combo or AAA.

It's short for "jackhammer", which is a bit self explanatory on meaning.

Its a pair of notes inteded to make you "jackhammer" a key.
