I lol'd.

But does this mean that our beloved pastime is actually an annoyance to others?

No, I remember a time I was round a girlfriend at the time's house, and played SM on her computer, with headphones in.

When I came off her computer, and took off my headphones, her dad had turned up the volume on the TV to like twice its original volume, just to drown out the tapping niose i was making on the arrow keys.

I am a noisy FFR player.

I pretty much live in my basement but at school the best keyboard (better than the one I use now) is one that clicks like mad. It's one of those ones that go 'CLICK CLOCK CLICK' and is just amazing. As usual I ask if I can enhance my learning experience through the magic of studenteducation.net after I'm done my Programming/CAD work and he says sure. This used to work until I discovered this keyboard and was seated near his desk. I started playing BB Revenge and he comes over and presses Ctrl-W (You should try it). He leaves the room and I start playing again but when he got back he kinda yelled a bit then reached over and unplugged my computer from the back of it. He then said never EVER to enhance my learning experience through the magic of studenteducation.net again. I then became a smart ass then used the actual website and he then got mad and I showed him it wasn't student education.net so he disabled my internet for a week.

Anyway, one time my mum had a friend over and I was tapping up a storm on Delirium. She's like "Wow, what's he playing?", and my mum rolls her eyes and says, "Oh, it's some arrow game. He plays that day and night." About then I broke my combo.
