What fingers do you use for what arrow keys? I've been trying to play spread and I want to know what is probably the best way.

I just started playing spread. I'm not really that good, but I use askl.

Left: Left middle finger
Down: Left pointer finger
Up: Right pointer finger
Right: Right middle finger

i use my index and middle on both hands... Left and down arrows for my left hand, 8 and 6 on the numpad for my right.

Is there a way to use letters instead of numbers? Do you have to install or configure something?

I play with

(format: arrow | key | finger)
< A left middle, V S left index, ^ L right index, > ; right middle

sometimes I use numpad 5 and 6 for ^ >

Left arrow: A key, Nose
Down arrow: F key, Penis
Up arrow: L key, Right toe
Right arrow: End key, I forgot what body part, but it involves a long pair of chopsticks being held somewhere. After a fast right-sided trill I can barely sit down for weeks.
