computer recording system

is there like anything that might be on my computer that would like record it like a video because i dont have a video camera and id like to make acouple videos. so is ther like a video recording thing?

Yeah, its called Hypercam, I forget where to get it, try a google search.

frontcam also. the problem is that they don't record sound. at least, the unregistered versions dont, not sure about the registered ones...

so, you don't get keypress sounds.. nor do you even get the song's music.

Hypercam is free, but it comes with a little bar at the top(when your recording) that says Unregesterd Hypercam, that gets annoying. but most of all its the best free online video recorder out there. You may have some trouble with lag but you can configure your computer to not lag as much.It even records sound from the computer so there is no keypress sounds or un-wanted sounds.

Hypercam will record sound if you have the option of telling it to record from the Stereo Mixer.

Camtasia is a great program, but VERY VERY processor heavy. I have a 3GHz with 4GB of ram and mine lags me to the point of failing Love You Anymore. But if your computer can handle it, go for it.

okey ya i downloaded it so how exactly do i make it not lag?

uhh you right click on your main screen and hit properties then go to settings and change your color quality to the lowest bit possible then hit advanced then go to troubleshoot and move that bar to 'none' then it should run without lag, make sure to change everything back when your done recording though.
