    How long...

I was just wondering... How long does it typically take one who is new to FFR to get past playing all the easy songs and up to standard and tricky and so on so forth?

I was just wondering because I don't know if I'm doing poorly from how long I've been here or if I'm doing just right or if I'm excelling.

It's completely dependant on how much and how you play.

      Ah, well that makes sense.

I play fairly often, but I keep mixing up the up and down arrows some how. Grawr. D:<

It depends on what you've done before FFR.

For example, if you are rhythmically experienced (generally with instruments) or have played the original DDR with some skill.

And of course your dedication through teaching yourself ways on getting better.

Too many people make threads like this. Just practice.

Some people just get better faster than others because they have a natural aptitude towards the game, so they get better faster. It also depends mainly on how much musical experience you have, your self-image (how you view yourself as a player), how focused you are while you play, your dedication, how much you actively practice playing FFR/SM, and how much your subconscious mind processes playing FFR. Playing Stepmania will greatly improve your FFR ability if you play the right songs, it could easily make you improve twice as fast.
