Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to play FFR with a DDR mat. I have the usb cord to hook it up and everything. But if it's possible, I don't know how to make it work along with FFR.

You should be able to adapt that method for pad playing, I know it's possible. (I think Flip plays pad sometimes.) -
Re: Hooking up DDR mat?
I was thinking of doing that also. Only my way was more of an engineering way. I was going to take a keyboard and get a DDR mat and solder the connections from the mat to the UDLR keys so if i step on the up on the mat, it would be like hitting the up key on the keyboardComment

Re: Hooking up DDR mat?
Actually, I dont know if it would be a good Idea to use one anyway. When every you put your foot on the mat, it will think you are playing a key, even if it is just to put your feet on the left and right keys, therefor, you will get 2 boos, so you would have to keep it in the center, and you wont be able to move your feet until an arrow comes alongComment

But if you're standing on an arrow, won't you just get a ton of boos?
EDIT: Ninja'd lol
And please edit your posts, don't double post.

Re: Hooking up DDR mat?
I dont think you should hook up a mat, unless you do the following
1) Where ever you step is the place you will have to keep your foot. if theres an up arrow, you will step on it, but then you cant return your foot to the left and right arrows
--- To avoid this:
a) Either keep your foot on the last arrow
b) Stay in the middle
2) When you step on a key and hold, it will think you are repeating keys and will continue on sending a message that the key is press, you will get out in a second.
---To avoid this:
a) Either Step quickly, returning your foot to the center, or
b) Go to Start, Control Panel, Accessibility Options, Keyboard, Filterkeys, Turn On "Use Filter Keys", Settings, Filter Options, Ignore Repeated Keystrokes
You need to do those to be able to use a DDR pad during game playComment
