i need help and the help thread isnt helping

since nobody responded over the past 2 days in the help with game simulators thread i figured id post here where people actually veiw the topics. im sorry if it breaks your tos. i need possible answers by 6 pm est tomorrow else my plans for this friday night are fubar'ed.

i am an owner of two CF pads. i am also the owner of two ps2-pc usb converters. problem is my stepmania will not recognize both pads. i can play with one. it auto maps. but the other joystick doesnt get mapped.

if i custom map my pads i also run into some problems.
say for example i go to step back for a hold arrow. the arrow will flash on and off as if im stepping on the button really fast as long as im holding it. when i custom map my keps this same itchy trigger effect applies to each key.


any advice?

If you're using AHK or something along those lines it remaps they keys. So even though you hit a key it'll still go in line with the repeat rate of your keyboard.

I've never tried a mat with PC so I cannot answer your main question. Sorry.

yea i think there should be a way to use autohotkey with external controllers. maybe try redownloading a newer version of stepmania or just reinstall it if you have the newest already.
