Okay well thanks for the advice everyone.. I'll be spending the next few hours trying to FC Song for the Nihonjins. The parts where it goes up-left-up-left or up-right-up-right is really killing me right now lol.

Song for the Nihonjins was the one I got 40 credits on for the first time, try it. =]

I've tried many times today.. but I can't seem to not mess up in the middle. :@ So I only end up getting like 30 something credits.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I finally did it!!!!!!!!!! I never knew how much cutting the screen made you faster lol. My score was 2,182,870 (1328-96-2-0-2).

Edit: Not that anyone really cares (except me), but I just got 40 credits again in Bicycle Break. Sorry just felt like getting that out. =)

I just got the token on Song for the Nihonjins a few hours ago. You don't even need to FC it, I messed up at the very beginning on the jumps and FC'd the rest of it for a little over a 1000 combo and got 40 tokens at the end.

Yeah, I know. When I got 40 credits on Bicycle Break yesterday I messed up at the beginning also. You just need to get over 1.95 million points or something like that. Oh and congratulations on getting the token!! Trust me I know how it feels to finally get the token after playing the same song forever trying to get it.

Well, I was told last night (hai dev :3) that a combo of 1000+ gets you a 20 token flat bonus on top of the normal tokens earned (which I don't know the formula for).

Thanks! ... this was my first and as of this post still only play of Song of the Nihonjins though... ... yeah.

congrats man. This token took me forever, when i tried to get it i couldnt fc song for the nihijons. so i just mashed a 800 combo on pants somehow and got the token. Now i get 40 credits on almost every song XD

What I find really helps on harder songs is cutting the screen. I used to mess up tons on Song for the Nihonjins, but now that I've started hiding about 1/3 of the screen on the bottom and I'm able to full combo it no problem.

Just to be clear, I didn't mean that you get some kind of complete seperate bonus points for "a combo over 1000" I just meant that given a 50,000 point : 1 credit conversion rate, and 1000 points per step in your combo, a 1000 combo contributes 1,000,000 points to your total score, and thus is 20 credits all on its own.
