subscribing help....

i didn't know where to put this, so i went with general talk. please move if not in the right forum. anyways.


i don't have a paypal, and i want a subscription. when you go to subscribe, it says you can use a card.

my question is, how does it work with the card? will you get a bill in the mail? or does it work like a credit/debit card, and just take the money right out of your bank account?

the answer may be obvious, but i want to make sure before i do anything.

It must be done with paypal I belive.

I could be wrong though.

I had the same problem so I just signed up for paypal.

yeah, when you go to subscribe it gives you the option to use a card. i did all of the stuff except click the submit button, because i don't know how it's going to work.

It should charge like a credit card. They wouldn't sent out a bill for that.

You should just get a paypal account, they're super useful.

Other than that, yes, you'll get a charge on your credit card.

i was thinking about getting one, but i don't really buy anything on the internet. this'll be my first.

and i know i'll get charged on it.

i'm just making sure it's like buying something at a store. all you get is a reciept and your money taken out of your account.

i do believe you still need to go through paypal with the card... but it works just like any other card purchase. you put in your number, it charges you, and if it's a credit card you'll get a bill in the mail at the end of the month or whatever. if it's a debit card, it'll come straight out of your account.

i'd also recommend getting a paypal account set up and verified. it's handy to have, just in case. and since you're 18, you can legally have a bank account of your own, which is needed to have a verified paypal account.

You link a credit card to it. When you buy something you'll get a charge on your card (or bank acct) that says something about paypal.

You don't, you just buy stuff and paypal charges your credit card.
