        Um...his idea is for new players to help encourage them to develop some basic skills. Linking to the Tier Points thread is a pretty ridiculous comparison.

        There are 98 people on the tier point list in grand total. There are "1,311,481 members and growing!" on the site. I hardly think "Well they should look at the tier points" is a valid objection.

            There was a suggestion once about a Tier System for the newbie players, I don't really know where that went.

                There was an amateur tier point system proposed, and all of the people good enough to get actual tier points were all like "Oh you'll devalue the system durr" and a lot of people seemed to insist that tier points were only for the best people, and a second system for less skilled people was somehow bad.

                Don't think I haven't considered taking up LD on his offer to seriously consider a completed amateur tier system.
