100 Bar Blackout

Well, I've finally made it to this level, and before I go in trying to dominate all the jacks, I'm aware that two of them are what people call 2-framers? So I can get 2 Good for the AAA on this song.....

....would anybody be kind enough to tell me which notes these jacks fall on? I'm good at jacks but I'm not quite sure I understand the concept of hitting a Good at best yet..... if somebody could tell me which two these are, I could maybe practice it before attempting to get a score.

Trust me, the two 2-framers will show up perfectly. They're just really close together, and chances are you'll avmiss on them your first time around.

Uh, okay, I tried the level and I didn't see any difference in any of the jacks, but I'll look harder.

Oh, 11 and 12? Okay. Wow, I've only been able to hit 2 Good on those. And I thought I was good at jacks after whoring Crystalis. ^_^

Thanks a lot, I'll work on getting one of those perfect. I guess I'll just look for the one later on that looks exactly like that.

Thats one of them. 11+12 = 1, 2-framer.

if you can't tell the difference between a 2-framer, a 3-framer, a 4-framer or more... there is NO WAY you'll be able to PA 100bb appropriately.

ps - the 2 framers are at 9 and 110, IIRC. if not, within 2-3 notes around there. there are also about 4 or 5 3-framers... don't recall exactly how many any more. but you'll need to know their location, since you only have 1 frame of perfect for those (same as you only have 1 frame of good for the 2 framers)... hitting the 3 framers as perfects is equally as hard as getting the 2 framers as goods. it's just easier to miss on the 2 framers.

Okay, yeah, 110 is not happening for me, so that's probably it, thanks Tass. And if I really examine it, then I can tell the difference. I haven't really played any levels with 2-framers before (except for Crowdpleaser but lol like I can tell any one jack from another in that mess ^_^), so it'll take some practice, that's all. =)

Set the speed to 1.5 or one lower then you nomaly do and you will get a better rank.
It took me a month to find that out.

I actually got the AAA on 1.25. I've only played that song about 15 times before I got it, quite odd

I tried a few different speed mods, but it didn't seem to help much. Thanks for the suggestion, though. Speed mods and screen cutting don't do much for me. ^_^
