I went straight to my PM inbox and there were two messages. The first says "congratulations cen" .... what? Then the second one has "congratulations, I think you will be a good mod" Now I understand, but you all knew this WAY before I did.

Lol we did...hey Cen, question, and you probably don't know this...but usually when the mods are on, their lightbulb is red and their 'Online!' status is orange. Your lightbulb is yellow and your 'Online!' status is green...are you like, a trainee mod or something? Or maybe that's the distinction between mods and admins, or something. I don't know.

Yeah, that is the mod light. I just found that out too.

Moderaters don't have access to the administration panel. Basically they can edit peoples posts, delete threads/posts, post stickies and announcments, and lock threads. Admins control things like banning, new forum sections, etc.

Yeah, Congrates yo. Now that you are a mod, you'll get all these IMs from people you dont know...and then when you put your away message on, you'll still get a crap load of IMs....and then you realize, "Oh, it's because they can see that I am online by the forums", so you disable the option that allows others to see when you are online...but you still get IMs.
