Get a Full Combo on Super Mario 8-Bit Eighties with at least 160 goods and 10 or less perfects and averages to unlock Starman.

Before I finally, after 80000000 games, get the 160 Goods and then screw this up, is that 10 or less Perfects and Averages requirement collective between the two of them? Like, if I have 9 Perfects, 160 Goods, and 5 Averages, will it give it to me? 9 Perfects and 5 Averages would make 14 between the two of them which is more than 10....... so that's why i'm wondering.

I'm not going all that way and then getting screwed. ^_^

I'm pretty sure the averages and goods sum up.

Example: You can get 5 perfects and 5 averages and the rest goods, but still get the token. But if you get 5 perfects and 6 averages, the requirement won't work.

Okay, thanks, just to make sure, I'll only get 10 Perfect, the rest Good.

there are 174 notes. you need 160+ goods. you can not have more than 10 perfects OR 10 averages. if it had been 10 total, i would have made the req 164+ goods.

Starman ranks as one of the hardest tokens to get for me. Others being The Five which took about as long and Otaku oni, which is the only one I don't have yet.

It's because people who are good at the game have precise timing. Therefore, it is challenging to force them to play offbeat.

I don't get Starman at all.

Well, it's definitely a skill. It's like learning to hit Perfects if you have no timing. Or, it's like learning to hit Perfects on Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl. If the music can't help you, then you have to learn how to hit it by sight.

For me, it's easier to hit Good being purposefully late. Perfects seem to come up even if I'm early, so if I go really early to avoid Perfect, I hit Average. ^_^
