It all depends on the person. Most likely your hand would feel like using your two fingers, and that's what you need to fight off. My advice to you is play very easy songs like free space and Mario until your index are following you correctly, then play a song with some doubles in it, and keep practicing and it'll come. Other than that, index players could probably help you more.

Sometimes its easier for me to use one finger, for certain step combinations, but I mainly use two fingers. I would think you just need to work on your speed and accuracy with one finger on easier stuff, then work your way up. Its the method I used, but im still working on it.
