    make us happy!

    You guys should totally make CD's of FFR songs and sell them. Draw up a plan and a percent of profits to give to the authors, get their permission, don't put on songs that draw from other copyrighted material that you don't have permission to make profit off of, et voila!

    I'm not a subscriber, and I've yet to purchase anything, but I'd buy CD's of FFR songs.

    All who're in favor of being able to purchase FFR music, reply!

      This should be in suggestions, but not a bad idea.

              I don't think many authors would be up for allowing else someone to profit from their material, even with a percentage going to them. Unless they're in-house FFR Arists who'd be willing to do it just to help Synth out.

                      cyanite: you're pretty wrong on that... that's how compilation CDs work. part goes to the artist, part goes to the people who are actually selling it.

                      most of the artists have great music, they just don't have the exposure to sell their stuff en masse themselves. we do.

                      BUT... if you were around back in 2004, we did try this. It didn't work so well. We've thought about doing it again, but we have other ideas that are similar that we feel would work better.

                          I was unaware of it back in 2004. I was around, but not on any regular basis whatsoever.

                              Well putting them in FFR stores is one thing, but in actual CD stores is another.

                              I think with the support of the new bands like Making April, LoveHateHero,etc. things could work out better. Make them hold a concert fest and sell some CD's XD

                                  2004 is 3 years ago. The community has grown rapidly since then.

                                      How about using credits to be able to download a specific song of your choice to your comp via the FFR Shop, lol.
