So im walking with my cousin, showing him the views of where I live, and whats this i find? the only arcade, which I have never seen before, in the city.
so after wetting myself, i go inside and what do i see?
DDR MECHINE WTFHAX FTW!!!!
iv only played FFR, so this was hard lol, beginner made me sweat.
it didnt seem to register my stepping on the arrows i had to like kick them, maybe why i stunk

I've been wanting an arcade for some timeeee, its somewhat new too.
also! it has the original mario bros; arcade styleee; didnt play it yet cuz their damned dolar-quarter mechine said '**** you' to me today..

after 50 cents worth of games, i moved up to easy from beginnner, ohyeah im getting there. i can read the arrows , its just getting my feet to it, and its hard to get use to the fact i can keep my foot on an arrow after pressing it, i always move it back to center, so im like flying around like a dumbass when i make unneccesary movements... o life is good

There is a forum for all things DDR, but it's nice to see that you're making progress.

Konami also has quite a few home versions of DDR, most of which are for PS2.

I played home versions till I had a xbox to usb converter. STEPMANIA ON THE PAD WOOT.

is there a purpose of the bar thats behind the pad? is it so i dont fall backwards? or do i hold onto it to move my feet faster...

i useually get pwned at 5 footprint songs [standard]
im good at FFR [for the most part] and i can follow the arrows on very difficult songs n such, but this seems harderrrr, i geuss im equavelent now at ddr when i first started FFR, but 50 cents for 5 games [if u get no game overs] to play for 20 hours would be expensive

I had a flimsy madcatz pad back in the day, until my ps2 broke :<

Then I found out about stepmania and got myself a red octane ignition.

Still can't pass xepher oni. I'm such a noob >.<

I got back just now from DDR, i can do some standard songs now, lol in like 2 hours of game polay [none yourbusness how much i spent] [[6$ ]]
and DAMN im so sweaty n stuff, gahhh , realize how unfit i am.. not really im average.. anyways i realized using the bar behind me made it madd easy, cuz i would trip n crap all the time, main reason cuz i duno how to organize my feet, so when i use bar i can hold my hole body up when needed eehee anyways yeah im phsyced

aha, i've only played like maybe 6 games on DDR and i'm on standard songs and some heavy songs. helps being a dancer. i always know where my feet are. i also put a little dancer spin when playing some times.

i don't have an arcade near me have to drive like forever to an arcade that has DDR. so i never get to play DDR anyways.

another reason being a dancer is good, i barely weigh anything only 90 pounds so i can move faster, along with tiny feet so my foot organization skills are in low demand when i play. and i find that bar behind me so annoying, i keep knocking into it, i don't need to use it i just find it in my way all the time.

btw how am i weird?? just wondering i don't have a clue how you see me as weird, other than being 15 5 3" and only 90 pounds

It's the best non metal pad for the money. Personally, I like it. All the good metal pads are over $200...
