    Why the networking?

I guess I writing to rant a little about the site as it stands currently. What happened to the simpleness of the game? Is this site going to be a myspace/facebook friend networking site, or will it remain a site for those who enjoy the game? Now don't get me wrong, I am enjoying having a profile and browsing around other people's profiles, but the thing I notice the most is that half of the profiles have people that haven't played a single game in a month or so, and a few that have never played, and these people are currently online chatting it up. What is this!? I'm still a n00b by far, but theres quite a few members that are only lifting their fingers to chat rather than play the game. Is this annoying to anyone else, or is it just me?

    Re: Why the networking?

why does it matter? we're trying to not only be a game, but a site where there is something for everyone. yes, those who take advantage of all that we have to offer will likely get a fuller experience, but if someone wants to only use our profiles or chats or forums or whatever... let them.

honestly. why do you care? our main focus will always be the game.... but we're trying to make the best game AND site that we possibly can, which means catering to everyone.
