im so bad at this song... does anybody have any advice for this? this song is killing my avg rank its my worst ranked song, my rank on it is in the 5,000's i can only get about a 70 combo on it because i suck at mashing and i play index lol.

I suggest #1 since you play index.
If you can PA it though, it's easy to get a good rank. I'm 16 with 9-1-0-0, and i'm pretty sure I can SDG it which would put me in the top 10.

Do you mash to the beat? or just slam the arrows keys as ****ing fast as you can. When i try to mash to the beat i seem to consistently get 100 ish combos, but I always lose it and don't come close to FC'ing.
As of now I have a better chance playing it legit than mashing.
*edit* my keyboard might just have registering problems at high speeds, this would explain my FOTBB score and the ridiclous amount of av-misses i seem to get....starting up again
