    Improving PA

I was wondering if anyone had tips for improving one's PA. To give you an idea of how bad my PA is, I have a hard time AAA'ing easy songs (It took me 5-10 times to AAA Excite Bike -.-).

    Any advice? (besides practice lol)
The day I AAA something will be the day hell freezes over.

    Go for AAAing easy songs.

Seriously. Do them over and over again.

My PA was horrible on hard songs, but after one full day of trying to AAA as many easy songs as I could, the next day my PA improved INCREDIBLY.

Uhh.. I'd suggest playing hard songs that you've FC'd (like in my case-- endless dream) and go re-FC them for better PA. (ex. I improved my endless dream fc today to 13 goods instead of whatever crap it was before)

        otherwise-- practice a lot.

Any specific song packs you reccomend to help with the PA increase?

Play hard stuff without mashing, and then your PA on stuff you have the speed for will increase by itself.

I can FC songs like Delirum with relative ease but it'll be a long time before I even have a chance of AAA'ing it. > > (And I've played Delirum god knows how many times...)

stepmania did absolutely nothing for me, just play songs until you get a score you like.

Play stuff harder than your FC capacity.

                      Re: Improving PA

My best advice would be hitting the arrows by there beat. Some arrows in a song may be off but by hitting arrows on the beats, you can FC songs. The better your FC's get, the better chance you have of AAAing it.

PS- I can't AAA Spontaneous Hydroxide. The best I can get on it is 12-0-0-0 (Not counting perfects).

                        SSS = Speedmods, spread, stepmania

Plateauing doesn't really exist, if you aren't improving it means you haven't put in the effort needed to improve, or your effort has been misapplied. It's more of a problem at really high levels, but never totally concrete.

Speedmods FTW. Before they came out, I used to screencut, and I had decent PA. Since they came out my PA has improved drastically.

I reccomend putting autofail on 0,1,1,1,1 and playing songs that are just beyond your ability to AAA.

You learn how to hit and you can see your weakness on specific arrow pattern and types. (I found I was hitting to early on jumps in streams for example.)

Everyone has different ideas (as shown above)...
I suggest listen to some music, unless you play a musical instrument and you can get the timing precise. That way, you can adapt to whatever song your listening to while playing on FFR. There are some songs that may be excluded, as are hard to follow rhythm. Otherwise, practice, be confident, re-do the song over and over, and all the bunch of other stuff people have been commenting on above.
