No, it's not against the rules, but it is frowned upon greatly and considered illegitimate by pretty much everybody.

Basically you use the arrow keys in conjunction with the numpad or one other set of bound keys with 2 hands. Basically, it allows you to mash impossible parts on things like CP much faster than usual.

Actually, I said that it would still be cheating, but that no one would be likely to care, which is true.

And Xiao, it is against the rules. Scores thought to be done by double setup are deleted--the most common example is someone FC'ing Crowdpleaser, which is virtually impossible without double setup.

also using double setup on long, complicated songs with lots of trills (FotBB, vB, k8... as examples) to turn the trills into rolls, would be quite cheating.

What? I haven't AAAed VB, I AAA K8.

I can't AAA VB, I always hit an avmiss somewhere in the trills (usually the DL since my left hand is retarded).
