Multiplayer not working! :O

Hi.

Yeah.
My friend wanted to play multiplayer with me but I couldnt find the button for it, but I knew where he was telling me to look.

&& today, I was just at my friends house && I noticed the multiplayer button, so basically it shows up on my friends computer but not on mine....

Can anyone tell me why && how I can fix that, because I'd really like to play multiplayer at my house. :]

Well I dont think we have any type of firewall, I know we dont have any sort of virus protection at all...

&& if firewall is the case... is there a way to allow only FFR to get past it, or a way to check if I even have firewall first of all?...

Wait, what am I supposed to search on google?...

you know how below where you choose your character is where those 3 circle logos are, && the 1st one is supposed to be multiplayer && theres a white rectangle which you click on.

Well when I was at my friends house, I noticed that the middle circle was for news, && here at my house, the clickable words in the white box dont show up, but when I click on the middle circle anyways, the news pops up, but it only works on the middle one, so idk.

Ohh.. ohk, yeah, I see.. When I was playing the game I right clicked && chose the option "About Macromedia Flah" or something && it brought me to this adobe page && it said I had "Version 7,0,19,0"

So, are you positive that downloading version 9 will let me play multiplayer?

Oh, haha, but what sucks is that if that is the prob. my mom isnt letting me download anything until we get virus protection first, so I guess I'll just have to wait... :'[

If you can't convince your mother that downloading Flash Player 9 is safer than a cusioned room in an asylum, I guess you'll have to be patient then.

Well, once that happened to me, && I just cleared my cache. It worked. && also sometimes I turn firewall && virus protection off.

Lol, trust me, I wont be able to. I don't mind being patient. There's always just the challenge option. Better than nothing, & at least I can still play FFR, right? :]

hmmm. Idk, probably is the whole Flash version, because there's this other site that I need to download a higher version of flash to play. So yeah.
