Glitch, close the forums

It seems that every time the site goes through maintenance, people have to make a bunch of threads because they can't read, or just don't give a crap at all what the site admins have to say at all.

I think that the site should close the forums until maintenance is done. That way, no nonsense threads will be made, and everyone will be happy. BUT! As stated by IcePhoenix, you should still be able to browse the forums .. just not post in them. Once maintenance is done, the forums should become available again for everyone to use.

It was hard to decide if this would go into the Suggestions forums, so I put it here because it's not really a Suggestion that has anything to do with the game.

Umm, howbout no. First off, you can ignore the threads. Second off, the people usually do figure out what's going on from threads, I think they just need to post the problem on the front page sooner. Third off, other people and I still might want to browse the forums.

No it's not.

When the forums are down, no one can make a thread, hence, no chaos.

I just wish that the "while ffr was down" threads couldn't be made.

Umm, howbout no. First off, you can ignore the threads. Second off, the people usually do figure out what's going on from threads, I think they just need to post the problem on the front page sooner. Third off, other people and I still might want to browse the forums.

I think most people would rather have a forum with 5 topics some idiots made than no forum at all. It's not really CHoTiC2!!@ but really just a few stupid topics with chaos inside them.

It's called A REALLY STUPID IDEA!!!

Really...why don't you just leave the the forums if you don't like them when they're full of topics like "OMG HAXOR 0 CREDS". Just because the forums contain garbage at the moment doesn't mean the forums are completely useless.
