Speed mods dont help me at all.
I just screencut. I use C600 on Smania but FFR speed mods are too laggy and inconsitent.
I guess me and Sash arent that different.Orbb fan club.

speed mods would be useful if jack syndrome didn't exist, but trying to learn 4-frame PA with a new speed mod is like trying to learn a whole new game for me.4th Official FFR Tournament - Master division champion!

If there's jacks, x1 and screencut. If it's a blue note file (old, offsync) then x1 no screencut. If it's a new file with no 4 framers or faster, I use x1.5.

I use 1.5x and it works pretty well.... if you want to improve timing, practice on 1.75x for a while.
Since 1x is C300, the speeds are basically:
1x=C300
1.25x=C375
1.5x=C450
1.75x=C525
2x=C600
3x=C900
I really don't recommend anything over C525, so 2x and 3x are out of the question.Comment

I dunno if this is bad or not, but what I'd do in your case, is start by alternating between x2 and x1.75.
You know how when you say..."Hey, I wanna try a higher speed!" and do so, then go back to your regular speed, it seems much slower?
Maybe it'll help if you do that a few times on x2, then putting your speed back down to x1.75.
Just a thought. Maybe it'll help reaction faster.Comment

Ionno i use 1.25x right now prolly gonna use 1.5 after getting more used to it but i wouldnt go any higher just overkill but my pa for most songs is amazing like on divinity and rose 2 goods and AAA princess

Yea I guess another thing i was thinking about was if it is possible to adapt to 1.75x-2.0x using spread and still AAAin songs and get awesome PAs on songs level 9-12
But i guess Tayfun and others proved its possible. Does anyone know how long it would take to practice 1.75 before you really see improvement. Ive played 1.5 for a few months

i saw improvements on 1.5 the next day but when i go and test 1.75 the note go too fast for my eyes but i would guess it would be different for most people me it would prolly take like a week or two for 2.0xComment

I've improved my 4-frame PA with the speed mods I think. It was a pain to relearn though...
I use 1.5x with a small screen cut. I would screen cut more but the judgements distract me...
Maybe try SM at like C700 or something then try 1.75x. See if that helps.
