Since the new change to profile chat, where everybody is on everybody's chatroom, the option in the User CP to not see profile chat in profiles appears to not function. Mine is soundly set on the "no" option, and yet I still see the profile chat in every profile including my own.

Your flag wasn't set, check it now, and this is set in the profile settings within profiles now .. just an FYI

Thanks, that fixed it, and I see where in the profile the option exists now.
However, the option in Forums -> User Cp -> Edit profile:
