thinkin about switchin to spread

yeah the title says it all
but i have one question
can i use the down and left on the arrow pad and the 8 and 6 on the number pad?
is that how most people do it?

Whichever way works best for you. Try that way, and try stuff like askl, vbnm, etc., and see which one you feel the most comfortable with, where your keyboard can register all of the keys you're using at the same time, too.

I originally played with one hand and switched to spread. Never looked back.

Spread has a lot of advantages. If you don't get used to it then you should try playing part of the song spread and then switch.

I switched to spread about three months ago, and it was the best thing I've ever done! It took me awhile to get used to it, but now I'm better then I was before! Stick with it, you'll get used to it.
