i just realized something...

i play ddr and stepmania a lot and i just realized that this FFR has no multi-step, when there are 2 or more arrows at once, meaning that you can only hit one arrow at a time. i was playing just a few minutes ago when i noticed this. maybe there needs to be an update?

of the ~270 songs in FFR, the only 2 songs without jumps are 100 bar blackout and excite bike.

i think he means that in ffr, it's possible to hit one arrow of a jump, such as a 46, hitting the 4 but missing the six

but in DDR and step mania, if you miss either the 4 or the 6, it counts both arrows as a miss.

I don't know about DDR but in Stepmania if you miss one arrow but hit the other then it only counts you as missing one.

I was guessing with the stepmania, to be honest. I just checked it out, aaand, I was right though. hitting a jump, if you don't hit any of the two arrows, it's one miss. if you hit one of the arrows but not the other, it's also one miss.
