Speed Mods O.o

Two questions:
1. Do you screen cut with speed mods? I've tried speed mods once and couldn't read them worth crap when I screen cut.
2. What is the speed mod of choice?

I personally think that x1.75 is the best speedmod to use because the arrows don't go too fast and you can read practically all patterns you can't read when not using speedmods. Also, I do not screencut when using speedmods.

There is no definite speed mod of choice. I'm personally in the 1.25-1.5 range while another member (Forgot his name) claimed to use C800 in Stepmania.

Is there a way to permanently set a speed mod? Or do you have to choose it again every time you play FFR?

No permanent way to set it. Just make those 3 clicks every time you start up. No big deal.

I use 1.50-1.75, depending on song difficluty I will make a small screen cut to improve my skill.

EDIT: Doesn't Dynam0 use like C900 or something on SM?

I currently just use 1.5x for now and if i play harder songs like crowdpleaser i use 1.75x
