    DDR vs. FFR

I've been playing DDR for about 1.5 years and FFR for about 3 months. When I started FFR I could play most difficult songs because I could process the arrows quickly, like in DDR. I noticed, however, that in FFR there are way more 'jumps', or multiple-key arrows. I wasn't used to so many jumps in a row, so even though I am pretty good at FFR now, I still lose to people several levels lower than me if there are a lot of jumps. Do you think this sort of thing is a setback to DDR players? Is this happening to other people? Any feedback, please.

What style do you play? Some songs in FFR were made by players that play with 2 hands, 4 fingers, and are also made for players with 2 hands, 4 fingers, and may not be very friendly for other playing styles.

i usually just use my 2 index fingers, maybe the middle ones, but it's not that. I just don't process so many jumps so quickly.

Yea, they're easier for spread, so you should consider switching.

Yeah, I'd recommend you switch also.

Also try either Speedmods or Screencutting, which ever one you prefer.

          Your scores will increase greatly.

DDR is pretty good but yeah ITG is much better. DDR is really good when your starting out though and theres only one ITG within a 2 hour drive of me which is a half hour drive in the first place.

DDR is fun but almost all the song on it suck so I preffer FFR. It's also because there is more step in FFR tho.

FFR has totally different charts from DDR, because FFR is a keyboard game, and DDR is a pad game. Of course there will be more jumps.

I have never played ITG. It has been DDR all the way for me... that and ITG is no where near my house...

                      ITG is DDR squared.
                      Arrow wise.

And ITG is almost similar to FFR with all of the jumps it has.

Um no, ITG has 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s. The main difference between ITG and DDR is of course the obvious higher level foot scale (11s 12s 13s), and the ITG style charts, which are more about flow.

Meh, I guess you could say that about ITG. I personally think that the step editors in DDR don't try to make it hard at all unless one of them was Naoki.
