    Etiquette in Multiplayer.

Here are some simple rules I'd like to lay down, I don't know if its written in stone, but if so, it sure doesn't seem like it.

    My set of rules:

    1. Someone comes into your room that you made, lets say you're a level 15 and they're a level 6. They say "Whoa! Level 15 seeya." Also, don't go into rooms that say 12+ if you're less than lvl 12. The maker of the room has a right to play who they want to.

*BE SURE TO READ THE LEVEL OF THE ROOM YOU ARE ENTERING BEFORE YOU GO IN*

    2. You go into a room titled George, or Suzy, or any person. You go in and they just leave, because they don't want you there. It isn't hard to just say, "Hey, I'm waiting for someone, can you leave please?" and I don't care if it's easier to back out and remake the room. It's just plain rude to leave if someone shows up.

*BE SURE TO BE POLITE TO THE PERSON IN THE ROOM, REGARDLESS OF WHO IT IS*

    3. Keep control of the vulgarity level in your chat messages. Nobody wants to see, "Hey *** ur a *** noob *** *** who should go *** something! I didn't use real curse words, as you can tell. But even my example was a little over the top. There is no need to cuss more than twice in a chat conversation, its not pleasant for others to view that, there are children in this game too.

*KEEP YOUR CURSING TO A MINIMUM*

    4. Noob calling makes you the biggest noob of all. The word noob, is just rude. Plain and simple.

    To deal with a noob:

(a). Ask them to stop doing whatever they were doing.
(b). If that fails, alert the moderator in the room.
(c). If there isn't a moderator, just go into a room or go out of multiplayer (only if this person is making you extremely mad)
    (d). IGNORE IT!!!!

    Understanding newbs:

The truth is, we were all noobs (in the FFR world), we didn't know what was what, who was who, and we didn't understand the rules all that well. How do you feel if someone goes up to you and calls you, "N00b3z0rz!"? I'll tell you right now through experience it doesn't feel very nice. *see rule 5 for how to act when gettin called a noob* The people that do that just can't remember what it was like when they were just starting.

    5. Losing is okay. Don't get worked up because you lost a game, it's not the end of the world. This is where you, the person comes in! If you are strong enough to accept defeat and move on with your life, you will be good for your entire life!

    6. Mid-song failure, some of us do it, some of us watch it happen. =D If you so happen to fail, just wait patiently. Why the person should wait patiently is because the person in the song should just play the song until they think they have the higher score and fail themselves, because what is there to wait for?

THE FINAL RULE: Don't be afraid to tell another person how you feel about them, as long as its not flamed. Any thing you can say with vulgarity, you can say without vulgarity. Don't be afraid to tell them they are being rude, or mean, or very nice =). A big part of what starts quarrels in any kind of chat is a misinterpritation or misunderstanding. You can say your sorry, and explain your idea further. Theres no need to cry over spilt milk.

~ Well, that's all I have for today! Follow these rules, and you'll be fine.~

Yea. This should be stickied. It actually would improve everyone's MP experience.

Might wanna leave out the noob-calling part, but other than that, this sounds like a decent idea.

Will anyone really read it though?

I don't really know fully what a sticky is, so I'm definately not fishing. I've been holding it all inside me and I NEEDED TO POST IT ALL AWAY! lol

I though the noob part was the best part. Lets have a vote

All in favor of keeping the noob part say yay, all opposed say nay.

dont forget that if the room says like level 10+ and your a level 5... not to join it >.<

*Edit* because if that person wants to level up and they cant level up from a level 5... then playing them would be pointless at least in my opinion.. and everyone that i played that is below that level standard cant complete most of the songs i usually fc >.<

Then play them some more. Then, the day after the next, play them again. If you aren't already doing this, you can't say you're stuck. Plateauing doesn't really exist, if you aren't improving it means you haven't put in the effort needed to improve, or your effort has been misapplied. It's more of a problem at really high levels, but never totally concrete.

Don't be a smartass. He means that on a grand scale, most newbs or people that don't venture into MP often aren't going to read this. For the most part, I agree with him.
