If two lvl 21's so happen to AAA Excite Bike in MP at the same time
would we both gain level, lose level , or gain nothing at all?

doesn't matter what level the 2 people are. if two people tie, nobody gains and nobody loses. tie = tie = a tie.

i'd bet that he knows level doesn't matter in terms of what happens in a tie situation. he might just be trying to brag subtly about how high an MP level he has.

lol MP level is a little more relevant to skill than overall rank, but is nowhere NEAR as good a representation as average rank or the all-important (IMO, since no one can max out in points anymore) Top Players List. so yeah bragging about it is kinda like bragging about overall rank. kthxbai!
