all the jumpjacks are 4-framers, however there are some completely random 5-framers in there, so he counts the beats (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) and memorizes where the 5-framers are. it's used just for PAing. maybe if he sees this he can clarify.
I think maybe dore's quote of shash's numbers means means..
9 4framers of one pattern
4 4framers of another pattern, 5 framer, then 15 more
10 4framers of another pattern
5 4framers of another pattern, 5 framer, then 16 more
and so on?
or no. that's my interpretation of it.
EDIT: nevermind, there's a lot more than 9 jacks in the first set. i dont ****in know, shash get in here
I don't count it quite that way anymore (I don't really play anymore, but if I did I wouldn't count it that way), and the highest number I use is 11
Basically, I split the song into each half-measure, and count 8 notes per, or up to 11 if there's only one 5-framer in the measure. The numbers are where the 5-framers are so I can anticipate them and pause when I need to.
It's hard to explain but it works really well.

If you don't shrink a lot or use a high speedmod you can anticipate them (scott)...if you shrink like I do it's impossible to just anticipate them, they come way too fast and aren't nearly obvious enough.

I just used visual acuity rather than perceptive (counting) acuity to PA AIM. Pretty much all of my goods and boos came from the three sections of overlapping jumps.
I tried the counting technique before, though, and it does work. Having to start count over again makes you pause momentarily (for a frame) and keeps you on PA.
Shash, start playing again...people are going to start passing you up. XD
yea. shash is trying to become the world's best guitar hero player. so maybe when he reaches that goal, DS and dynam0 will have passed him on FFR, and he'll come back and re-sup them.
