Creating SM Songs

I know there is a thread out there someone about how to make steps on SM, but could someone either tell me in detail, or link the thread on how to do it?
I would really appriciate it

I already installed SM, but when I open it theres no songs or any memory on there.

I know this might sound really noob, but

"You can get the stepmania editor at http://www.stepmania.com but be sure to download the newest version and not the 3.0 final!

So now, you need to set up the DWI file.

Make a .dwi file, and have .dwi set to always open in notepad.

Put this in as a basic template.

#TITLE:Your Title Here;
#ARTIST:Artist of the music here;
#BPM:BPM Here;
#GAP:0;
#SINGLE:MANIACifficulty here:

Open notepad, save file as "whatever.dwi". Done.
