Have you every tried to play on any other modes besides up or down. Diagonal is insane. And when you couple that with some ****ed up effects, I can't even pass Trip to the Moon. Go try it now, and then come back here and rant about how messed up it is.

Lol, sideways is easier, since the scroll rate is faster, and jimerax plays on left normally. I can't play sideways very well though. Probably almost as bad as I'd do on up.

I tried playing left and turning my monitor over so the scroll rate would be faster, but the arrows are laid out differently.
...wait, I just realized I could remap the keys so it's the same. Wow. I should try that.Comment

That doesn't really help, considering it seems to make a lot of the patterns harder, and it's still not any more frames per second.Comment

I started out with the arrows going to the right. Then I switched to up because I don't know how to change it in MP.

True, but for people like me who have trouble reading anything at a speed less than 600 its a big help. Sure, this makes some steps a whole lot harder, but it also makes some steps a bit easier. Just gotta take what you can get. Its weird to play one way then try playing the song another way. I'm pretty sure that I actually like some of the steps for songs better on left than i do when I play up (on the rare occasion)
whatever, left is the way for me until speed mods come out.
