I have been playing this game for ever!!! and everyone keeps pasing me by in skill when they join. I can do very dificults now with out any major problem. But the other day i came accross a video of someone doing hardcore of the north with 2 hands. Do most of you use 2 hands when you play? I only use my right hand. if you use both hands what keys do you use for each hand and why honestly do you do ti with 2 when doing it with one is so much more rewarding. but i think for the chalenging ones you have to use 2 becaues i have a big problem with thos. Thanks for the insight

Don't worry, you're not alone. I used to play with my right hand using three fingers; I actually played that way for two years. I could completely any song with one hand, but I could only get a max combo of up to about 300 on any song, and I could never do any high-tempo sixteenth note runs.I have been playing this game for ever!!! and everyone keeps pasing me by in skill when they join. Just recently I switched to play two handed spread, a very good choice! I play with the Shashakiro method:
Left arrow- Middle finger, left hand
Down arrow- Index finger, left hand
Numpad 8- Index finger, right hand
Numpad 6- Middle finger, right hand
If you're confused regarding the numpad keys, they act as the up and right arrow keys. Having your hands spread out, in my opinion, give you more dexterity and is a lot more comfortable than closer-together two-handed methods.
Practice playing FFR with the method I described, perhaps watch some Shashakiro videos. Trust me, at first I struggled greatly, but after a month of solid practice, it become a lot more natural and I saw great improvement in the quality of my scores.
In other words, it's very worth it buddy

Re: just curious
i actually just started changing from one handed playing to two handed.
and i have a similar story to the post above me.
i also use the same hand placement now, and through 1 1/2 weeks of changing, i can already see a great improvement on my scores. and i like it.
i hope to be FC'ing and AAA'ing more songs a lot more frequently lately.
that would be fun..
oh, and 100th post =]Comment

Try this, put two fingers on the left and bottom arrows, and use your right hand for 8 and 6 on the number pad.I have been playing this game for ever!!! and everyone keeps pasing me by in skill when they join. Switching to two hands is worth it, but it does take some getting used to.
Here's your sig if you want it
